I started a new project 🔥

Authors

I'm really inspired by the 12 startups in 12 months project but haven't quite comitted fully to it yet. I don't think I would be able to with all things going on in my life at the moment. That doesn't mean that I can't create new projects and get them out there regularly. I have an idea in my head that at one point i'll go all in on it.

stickley.app rundown

I finally released Stickley on the different launch platforms. It was never really the plan to monetize this project but since it got quite a lot of good response on a reddit post I decided to act on it and polished it and released it. It was a free to use platform with very limited premium features but decided to try it out anyway. It definitely paid off. I got my first ever online customer and made my first money as a creator. Was it a pity or support buy? Maybe. What a feeling and what a motivational boost it was either way. But I want more.

Even though I made a buck on this project, I'm not going to commit 100% to it due to me not wanting to market and maintain it. I've decided to let it stand for a little bit. It'll still be live to try out for anyone interested. Try it out here if you want 😁!

Introducing myNotifier

I have a hard time commiting to one thing because I want to do it all. It's awesome but also quite a hell sometimes. I loose motivation on a project faster than it takes for me to finish them, which is a no no. I decided in start 2021 that projects that I began, I would launch. That's also why the 12 startups in 12 months has me interested.

Anyway. The idea for myNotifier is a super lightweight notification system. Hook it up with an API endpoint and get notifications from whatever you're building. It could be your own API, a frontend, raspberry pie or maybe even your smartfridge? Who knows? The possibilities are endless and the growth potential are great as well. Can I get the no-code wagon on as well? ☝️

It's in very early development but you can follow the process on twitter if you feel like it. Link is in the footer 👇

I'm going for a 27th of May release.

Moving forward

Writing blogs is weird and I didn't really have a direction with this, but I guess that kind of describes me rather well. I don't really know where i'm going with this or what'll come of it but I like this community and I like building things. I also decided that I wanted to share and document my story along the way so that's what you're getting. I guess that if somehow I eventually become a successful creator, then anyone can. You know? 😅

See you around and remember to keep your head up! ❤️
